LocaleAmericas is a one-person boutique studio — which means the person who answers your message is the person who does the work.

Most businesses don't lose international customers because of a bad product. They lose them at the language barrier — a homepage that reads like Google Translate, a checkout that ignores how people actually pay, a brand voice that doesn't survive the border.

André Rodríguez is the founder of LocaleAmericas. He grew up in Peru, lived in Brazil and the United States, and is a native speaker of all three languages — Spanish, English, and Brazilian Portuguese. That's not a line on a résumé; it's the reason the work sounds right.

He started LocaleAmericas after seeing too many good businesses held back by translation that technically worked but didn't sell. Translation is not localization. A literal Spanish translation won't convince a buyer in Lima; a US-style checkout loses Peruvian customers who expect Yape, PLIN, or cash on delivery. He does the part most teams skip — the part that decides whether your launch closes deals.

Today he works from Lima, building bilingual websites and localizing content for SMBs in e-commerce, tourism, and SaaS. He studies at Lyon College in Arkansas, which keeps him moving between the two markets he serves — Peru and the United States — and fluent in how both actually do business. Every project is fixed-price, fast, and finished by hand.
